Driver Requirements
Drivers must be of 21 years (25 years in Australia and New
Zealand) or older and must have a minimum of 1 year’s
riding experience on heavyweight motorcycles. Driver must
possess a valid drivers license that qualifies him/her to
operate such a motorcycle in the country of origin. It is
advised to carry an international driving license or a translation.
The participant should bring his/her own equipment, clothing
and helmet. REBEL offer a small selection of hire equipment
if required. We will make every effort to provide the participant
with the motorcycle model requested. We reserve the right
to substitute models with a similar or of a higher standard.
Journey
and Renting Conditions
Tour Organizer:
REBEL KMA AG Tours on Motorcycles, P.O. Box CH-3753 Oey,
named REBEL henceforth.
Tour
Reservation and Tour Participation:
With signing the corresponding tour reservation, you accept
the terms and conditions of REBEL and your reservation becomes
binding.
Deposit
and Payment:
To reserve a tour, a non-refundable
deposit of $200 is to be made with the tour reservation.
The balance of the tour price will be due 6 weeks before
you travel.
In case REBEL
has to cancel the tour due to not enough participants, the
deposit of $200 will be refunded. In case the payment of
the total balance is not received within 6 weeks before
the tour starts, REBEL reserves the right to treat this
reservation as invalid and charge the corresponding cancellation
fee.
Payment
Possibilities:
Payment for the tour can be made via bank transfer or cash.
Motorcycle
Rental and Safety Deposit:
The motorcycle rental companies require a safety deposit
of between $1000 and $3000 to be taken from the renter's
major credit card as an "authorization only.”
A 100% refund will be made upon return of the motorcycle
in undamaged condition. The amount of the safety deposit
charged by rental companies varies. REBEL always tries to
negotiate the best conditions for the participants.
Included
in the Tour Price:
Please check in the various tour
descriptions to find out what is included. The prices are
based on double room occupancy. A limited number of single
rooms are available at an extra cost on a first come, first
served basis. REBEL will attempt to find a roommate for
riders not specifying single room on the booking form. In
case we’re not able to find anyone, we will charge
you the price of a single room.
Not
included in the Tour Price:
Anything that is not declared
in the tour description, is not included in the tour price.
Complaints:
Please bring any complaints to your tour guides
immediate attention. Please don’t wait until the tour
is over; we take customer complaints very seriously and
will try to solve occurring problems immediately.
Cancellation
and Refunds:
When canceling your reservation,
we will charge you the amount of $200 per booking to cover
our expenses. Additionally, the following cancellation fees
apply:

Minimum
Number of Participants:
If there are not a sufficient
number of participants, REBEL reserves the right to cancel
any tour up to 6 weeks before the start date. In this case
the participant will be informed immediately and the deposit
will be completely reimbursed. REBEL is not liable for any
additional costs or losses (e.g. airline tickets, hotel
reservations or vehicle rentals) incurred by the tour participant
due to the cancellation of tour because of lack of participation.
Disregard
of Traffic or Tour Group Regulations:
If the participant ignores
the traffic or tour group regulations, REBEL will inform
the participant of his/her wrongdoing. If the regulations
are ignored further, then REBEL has the right to exclude
the participant from the trip without any kind of refund.
At the beginning of the tour, each participant will be introduced
in depth to their vehicle and the regulations. Each participant
is responsible for checking the country’s entry regulation
and if necessary carry out passport or visa applications.
Liability:
REBEL is responsible for providing
the services listed in the tour description according to
the local standard and the accurate description of services
offered in its literature. REBEL selects carefully and is
constantly checking its contractors, such as hotels and
restaurants. REBEL is responsible for conscientious travel
preparations. REBEL is not responsible for any delays or
change in schedule, e.g. due to cancellations, suspicion
of terrorism etc. REBEL is not responsible for traffic or
other accidents. Each tour participant is responsible and
liable for its driving style and road choice, also if the
participant follows the tour guide.
Photo,
Film and Video Material:
Photos and Videos made from a REBEL representative
on a tour is copyright property of REBEL. REBEL reserves
the right to use any photo or video material, which is provided
by participants, for advertising and demonstration purposes
without any further cost to REBEL.
Tour,
Schedule and Price Adjustments:
REBEL reserves the right to change the program
schedules and prices, but are obliged to keep to similar
guidelines of the tour.
Weather
Conditions:
Our route dates are set
to enjoy the most favorable weather conditions in our riding
regions. For possibly occurring bad weather conditions REBEL
does not take responsibility and any requests for a refund
would be rejected.
Insurance:
Insurance is the responsibility of the participant.
We recommend an insurance package that covers the participant
for cancellation fees, luggage, accident, illness and liability.
A travel accident insurance is obligatory!
Tour
Guides:
All tour guides are well prepared to guarantee
you a stress-free vacation. Please follow your tour guides
instructions at the beginning and throughout the tour. Your
guide will and has to adjust to the weakest rider in your
group. It is impossible to meet everyone’s needs and
wishes but the tour guide will do everything possible to
fulfill personal requests.
Tours
with your own Bike:
If participants bring his/her
own motorcycle for use on the tour, then they are responsible
for its good condition. REBEL rejects any responsibility
for this motorcycle and does not provide any insurance.
